Ciment Fondue Refractory Products

Ciment Fondu® is a hydraulic cement with an alumina content of approximately 40%. Composed mainly of calcium aluminate, Ciment Fondu® is ideally suited for refractory and numerous construction applications. Despite 16% iron oxide content, Ciment Fondu® is suitable for refractory applications where iron oxide can be tolerated (non-reducing atmospheres). A basic refractory mortar recipe is: 1 part calcium aluminate 3 parts sand & 1 part fire clay (1/4-1/8 lime optional)
